Organ morphology and vessel distribution

ExiTron nano 12000

(Semi-transparent) 3D rendering of mouse organ volume, morphology and vessel distribution visualized and segmented in vivo.

Segmentation was performed sequentially and hierarchically. Left: main vessel, as well as contiguous networks of blood vessels, adjacent bone and organs. Right: semitransparent vasculature superimposed on the organs.

Segmentation also allows for quantification of organ volume and percentage of vascular volume in specific organs.
